November 2025 Prayer Requests

New York Families invites our brothers and sisters in Christ to lift the following requests to the Lord along with us during the month of November:

  • Please pray for the upcoming screenings of Inmate 090198, the new documentary about the 53 days New York Families Executive Director Jason McGuire spent in intermittent incarceration due to the politically-motivated investigation and prosecution he experienced at the hands of New York Attorney General Letitia James. Specifically, please pray that Christians and others would become aware of the dangers of lawfare and government weaponization;
  • Please pray for a wise and just resolution to the ongoing U.S. government shutdown;
  • Please pray for the upcoming municipal elections and other elections to be held on November 4, 2025;
  • Please pray that Gov. Kathy Hochul would have the wisdom and mercy to veto the assisted suicide bill that will reach her desk sometime between now and the end of the year;
  • Please pray for the justices of the Supreme Court of the United States as they weigh their decision in Chiles v. Salazar, which challenges Colorado’s law banning “conversion therapy” for minors. The decision could have an impact on New York’s ban on counseling those experiencing unwanted same-sex attraction.
  • Please pray for peace in Israel and in the Gaza Strip, and for wisdom for President Donald Trump and the many other U.S. officials involved in working toward peace; and
  • Please pray for the healing of our divided nation, and for a national revival.

Thank you for joining with us in prayer.
